BETH WALKER has been appointed dean of the Colorado State University College of Business, effective July 1. She was chair of the marketing department at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Walker earned a bachelor’s from Virginia Tech and received a master’s and a doctorate from The Pennsylvania State University.

GRETCHEN HOLBROOK GERZINA

GRETCHEN HOLBROOK GERZINA has been appointed dean of the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, effective July 15. She was chair of the department of African and African-American studies, a professor of English and Kathe Tappe Vernon Professor of Biography at Dartmouth College. Gerzina earned a bachelor’s from Marlboro College, a master’s from Simmons College and a doctorate from Stanford University.

W. MARICHAL GENTRY has been named dean of students at the University of the South. He was associate vice president for student life and senior associate dean of Yale College. Gentry earned a bachelor’s from the University of the South and a master’s from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

NANCY TARGETT has been appointed interim president of the University of Delaware. She was dean of and a professor in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment at Delaware. Targett earned a bachelor’s from the University of Pittsburgh, and a master’s and a doctorate from the University of Maine.

He was an associate professor and program coordinator of graphic design at Cal State Fullerton. JEFFREY WONG has been named associate dean of medical education at the University Park regional campus at Pennsylvania State University at Hershey. He was senior associate dean of medical education and professor emeritus of medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Wong earned a bachelor’s from Stanford University and an M.D. from The University of Utah.
