BRANDEN GRIMMETT has been named associate vice provost for the Office of Career and Professional Development at Loyola Marymount University. He will assume the position June 1. Grimmett is the current and founding director of the Piper Center for Vocation and Career at St. Olaf’s College in Northfield, Minnesota.He earned a bachelor’s from St. Olaf’s and a master’s from Harvard University.

KHRISTINA GONZALEZ has been named associate dean of the college for programs of access and inclusion at Princeton University. She was associate director of the Writing Center at Princeton. Gonzalez earned a bachelor’s from Dartmouth College, a master’s from Notre Dame University and a doctorate from Brown University.

Most recently, he served as associate athletics director for external operations and executive director of the Athletics Foundation at Norfolk State University. JULIO FRENK has been named president of the University of Miami. He is dean of faculty at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. Frenk earned an M.D. from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City. He earned two master’s and a joint doctorate from the University of Michigan. Frenk will take office in September.

MARIA TOYODA has been named dean of Suffolk University’s College of Arts & Sciences. She is associate dean of interdisciplinary studies and global initiatives and a faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences at Villanova University. Toyoda will take office in July. She received a bachelor’s from Stanford University, and a master’s and a doctorate from Georgetown University.

JOSE SARTARELLI has been named chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is chief global officer and dean of the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University. He will take office in July. Sartarelli earned a bachelor’s from the Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil. He earned an MBA and a doctorate from Michigan State University.
