K. RANGA RAMA KRISHNAN has been appointed senior vice president of the Medical Center and dean of the Medical College at Rush University in Chicago. He was dean of Duke-National University of Singapore Graduate Medical School in Singapore and a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University Medical Center. Krishnan earned an M.B.B.S. from Madras Medical College in India.

She was an adjunct professor of maternal and child welfare at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Browne earned a bachelor’s from Bennett College, a master’s from the University of Pittsburgh, and a master’s and a doctorate from Harvard University.
