LORNA HERNANDEZ JARVIS has been named the inaugural vice president for institutional equity and diversity at the University of Puget Sound. Most recently chief diversity officer and associate vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion at Whitworth University, Hernandez Jarvis holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Akron as well as a master’s degree and Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Kent State University.
