BERCEM DUTAGACI has been appointed assistant professor of computational biology at the University of California, Merced. Currently researching RNA polymerase dynamics, function and spatial organizations, Dutagaci holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry from Bogazici University in Turkey and a Ph.D. in biophysical chemistry from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Germany.
