KAREN L. “KERRY” ABRAMS has been named dean of Duke Law School, effective July 1. Abrams is the vice provost for faculty affairs and professor of law at the University of Virginia. She is a graduate of Swarthmore College and earned a J.D. at Stanford Law School.
