SHERYL HAYDEL has been named director of communications and marketing at Dillard University. She previously was an assistant professor in the Department of Communications at Xavier University. Haydel earned a bachelor’s degree from Clark Atlanta University, a master’s degree from the University of Maryland, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi.
