STANLEY J. ELLIOTT has been appointed president of Roanoke-Chowan Community College. He previously served as vice president of student affairs at Shaw University. Elliott earned a bachelor’s degree from Elizabeth City State University, a master’s degree from North Carolina Central University and a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.
