Mondie-Milner has served as director of orientation and new student programs at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia. Police: N.C. Community College Shooting Possible Hate Crime

Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a gay community college worker as a hate crime, while the man charged in the killing told a judge Tuesday there was “one less child molester” after the slaying of his former supervisor.

She is currently dean of the college and a professor of literature and African-American studies at Princeton University. Smith earned a bachelor’s from Bates College, and a master’s and a doctorate from the University of Virginia.

De Silva de Alwis earned a bachelor’s from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, and a master’s and a doctorate from Harvard Law School.

He was the former vice president for administration and chief business officer at Mercer County Community College.
