Slade earned a bachelor’s from the University of South Carolina and a master’s from Texas A&M University.

LEE A. GILL has been named chief diversity officer and special assistant to the president for inclusive excellence at Clemson University, effective April 18. Gill is associate vice president for inclusion and equity and chief diversity officer at the University of Akron. Gill earned a bachelor’s from the University of Michigan and a juris doctor from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
