She is currently the senior vice president for academic affairs at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. She earned a bachelor’s from the University of South Carolina, a master’s from West Virginia University and a doctorate from Ohio University.

REV. EDWARD L. WHEELER has been named president of the Interdenominational Theological Center, effective in April. He is a former president of the Christian Theological Seminary. Wheeler earned a bachelor’s from Morehouse College, a master’s from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School and a doctorate from Emory University.

Governor Calls for Investigation of University of Virginia Incident
Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has called for state police to investigate an arrest of a Black student from the University of Virginia who was allegedly bloodied and bruised Wednesday morning by White officers from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Witnesses have told various news outlets that the altercation was unprovoked.

Community College of Philadelphia has appointed JACOB EAPEN as vice president for business and finance. He was the former vice president for administration and chief business officer at Mercer County Community College. He holds a bachelor’s from Roosevelt University in Chicago, a master’s from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
