ANGELA FELECIA EPPS has been named dean of the Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law, effective January 4. She is a professor of law at the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Epps earned bachelor’s degrees from Cornell College in Iowa and a juris doctor from Creighton University in Nebraska.

Jerry Richardson, owner of the Carolina Panthers, has donated $250,000 to a Johnson C. Smith University scholarship fund. NASHID MADYUN has been appointed director of the Southeastern Regional Black Archives and Research Center at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). He was director of the Hampton University Museum. Madyun received a bachelor’s from Mississippi Valley State University, a master’s from Delta State University and a doctorate from the University of Phoenix.
