The Odd Couple: Case for American Education Reform
In an unlikely partnership, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and the Rev. Al Sharpton are teaming up for an issue they both can agree on: American education reform. Together they are touring the country screening the documentary “Two Million Minutes: A 21st Century Solution,” produced by Robert Compton, which showcases charter schools as the model of excellence for today’s crumbling and mediocre public education system. At the Washington D.C. premiere, Gingrich and Sharpton took the cause for change to policymakers.
