
Prior to her new role, she served as Shaw University’s director of digital teaching and learning. Earlier in her career, Dr. Jackson held various leadership roles with the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning and the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
Dr. Jackson is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, where she majored in elementary education. She holds a master’s degree in school administration from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and a doctorate in educational leadership with a concentration in higher education from Fayetteville State University in North Carolina.
