Dawn Meza Soufleris, Ph.D.

17299 Dawn Meza Soufleris Horizontal rev 1780404587Dawn Meza Soufleris, Ph.D., is slated to become the eighth president of the State University of New York at Brockport on July 20.

Dr. Soufleris has more than 35 years of higher education experience spanning student affairs, enrollment management, retention, and student success initiatives. She comes to SUNY Brockport from Montclair State University in New Jersey, where she served as vice president for student development and campus life. Before Montclair State, she was vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at La Salle University in Philadelphia. Earlier in her career, Dr. Soufleris held a series of senior administrative roles at the Rochester Institute of Technology for 25 years.

“I have a deeply personal commitment to ensuring that all students have the support they need to thrive, which is why I am beyond excited and grateful to be appointed as the eighth president of SUNY Brockport,” said Dr. Soufleris. “I am excited to return to the Rochester area and the greater SUNY Brockport community and look forward to hitting the ground running.”
