Morgan Chitiyo

Morgan Chitiyo has been named dean of the School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Chitiyo previously served as interim dean of the School of Education at UNCG. 

“Dr. Chitiyo has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and collaboration throughout his tenure at UNC Greensboro. His leadership as the interim dean has provided stability and forward momentum, and I am confident he will continue to elevate the School’s impact,” says Dr. Alan Boyette, provost of UNCG. 

Chitiyo earned a Ph.D. in exceptional learning from Tennessee Technological University, an M.B.A. from Tennessee Technological University, and a bachelor’s degree in education from Africa University.
