Ayana Davis HernandezAyana Davis Hernandez has been named interim associate vice chancellor for strategic communications at Elizabeth City (N.C.) State University. Hernandez served as special assistant to the chancellor at North Carolina Central University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Spelman College and a master’s in journalism and mass communications from NYU.
