W.Va. Governor Names Secretary for Veterans’ Aid

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Governor-elect Jim Justice has announced that Dennis Davis will serve as secretary of veterans assistance in his administration, replacing Billy Wayne Bailey.

Davis is a veteran of the U.S. Army and currently serves as a member of the Honor Guard at the Donel C. Kinnard Veterans Cemetery.

Davis is a lifelong resident of Institute, Kanawha County. He is a graduate of Kanawha County Schools, West Virginia State University and Marshall University with degrees in industrial arts education and vocational technical and adult education.
