Local veteran Allan Alldredge recently recounted the ups and downs of a Navy career, along with the missed moments it caused.
Alldredge is the OCC Career Services Coordinator and sponsor of Olney Central College (OCC) Student Senate and Oath Keepers Club. Oath Keepers offers support for veterans who are transitioning to academic life.
The 54-year-old veteran grew up in Effingham. In 1980, he graduated high school early and followed in his father’s footsteps to join the U.S. Navy.
