U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb and a Republican House member have teamed to introduce a bill to help veterans obtain college credit for their military education and training so they have a smoother path to earning degrees.
“American service members receive the best training in the world. They deserve to get credit for that when they leave the military, continue their education and start careers,” Lamb, D-18, Mount Lebanon, a Marine Corps veteran, said in a statement.
