Frederick Community College (FCC) has announced its new president, Dr. Annesa Cheek.
She will take over the leadership for interim president Dr. Thomas Powell.

In a response to the Board’s announcement, Cheek said her enthusiasm for FCC was “evident and inspiring.”
“I could not be more excited about my new role and the opportunity to hit the ground listening and learning about the College and its connections to support a vibrant workforce and regional economy,” said Cheek.
Cheek comes to Frederick Community College from St. Cloud Technical & Community College, where she held many other leadership roles. She is scheduled to begin her tenure on July 1, 2022.
