ALANKA HAYES BROWN has been appointed president of the Eduardo J. Padrón Campus of Miami Dade College. Recently vice president for academic and student affairs at Wilbur Wright College, Brown holds a bachelor’s in political science from Florida A&M University, a master’s from Florida State University as well as a master of public administration degree and a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Nova Southeastern University.
