TONY TIAN-REN LIN has been named vice president of institutional advancement and research at New York Theological Seminary. He previously served as director of Fellows and a Research Scholar at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at the University of Virginia. Lin earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University, a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a master’s and doctorate in sociology from the University of Virginia.
