LAKAMI BAKER has been named interim executive director of Auburn University’s Government and Economic Development Institute. Baker is an associate professor of management at Auburn. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Prairie View A&M University, a master’s in technology commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin, and a doctorate in management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
