JANEEN UZZELL has been appointed chief operating officer at the Wikimedia Foundation. Most recently, she was head of Women in Technology at General Electric. Uzzell earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a master’s degree in international business from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
