CONNIE L. BOOK has been appointed president of Elon University, effective March 1, 2018. She previously served as provost and dean of The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. Book earned a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, a master’s degree from Northwestern State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia.
