DANITA BROWN-YOUNG has been named vice chancellor of student affairs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Brown-Young previously served as vice provost of student affairs and dean of students at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University, a master’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago and a Ph.D. from Ohio University.
