Black History Month Celebrations Continue Despite Anti-DEI Environment

As higher education navigates restrictions on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, Black History Month remains a time of positive reflection, stakeholders say.

It’s a necessary part because it helps to not only demonstrate the various dimensions of the experience of what it means to be American, but even the fight to have some semblance of equality throughout the nation.”
