Bands Behaving Badly
I absolutely applaud the leadership of my alma mater in quickly and decisively dealing with individuals who don’t represent the very best of FAMU and African-Americans (see “FAMU Band Marches Into Trouble,” Oct. 5). Stealing and other forms of deviant behavior are absolutely unacceptable. I just hope that those young folks, who hopefully just had a temporary lapse of judgment, recapture the majesty and pride of being a FAMUian and an African-American.
